Course Description:

This is a CA POST certified professional development course. It will consist of three (3) consecutive 8-hour days. Attendees successfully completing this course will receive 24 hours of POST CPT credit.

Front Line Leadership is for all peace officers of all ranks, tenure, and assignment. Front Line Leadership will take you on a journey of rejuvenation, passion for the profession, enhanced commitment, personal growth, fulfillment, happiness, and resilient professional leadership.

This course is for those who want to be better law enforcement professionals.  Students completing this course will deepen their understanding of leadership and self to improve their work and personal relationships with others.  Information and skills developed in this course will assist the student in gaining a broader perspective of the law enforcement profession, the personalities that exist in it, teams, culture, history, and leadership. This course is a “must” for all Front Line Leaders!

Topics of instruction will include Assessing Leadership, Positive Leadership, Police Culture, DISC Personality Assessment, Leading the Challenging Employee, Integrity of Policing, 360 Relationships & Team Leadership, and Resilient Leadership.

All classes at outside locations run from 0800 – 1700.

All Agencies Are Welcome.


Primarily, PDI’s target audience is sworn personnel from the rank of police officer through lieutenant, however non-sworn members of our profession and members of all ranks are welcome.

Although LAPPL members are made up of Los Angeles Police Officers; PDI welcomes and encourages law enforcement personnel from any agency to attend. Regional attendance and networking benefits all attendees. California agencies will receive CA POST CPT credit for completed courses.

Not only are all agencies across the United States welcome at our Downtown Los Angeles facility, but classes can also be taught at YOUR location too! For inquiries regarding this, please send us a contact form!
