This is a CA POST-certified professional development course. It will consist of three (3) consecutive 8-hour days. Attendees successfully completing this course will receive 24 hours of POST CPT credit.
Front Line Leadership is a vital 3-day course for all peace officers and professional staff of all ranks, tenure, and assignment in public safety. As public safety demands grow, effective leadership is essential for organizational success.
This course stands out for its emphasis on self-reflection and personal accountability, encouraging participants to lead themselves before leading others. By reconnecting with their professional “why” and purpose, attendees will understand how these elements influence organizational culture, staffing, retention, and recruitment.
Participants will deepen their leadership understanding and improve work and personal relationships while recognizing the interconnectedness of work and home life for overall well-being.

Primarily, PDI’s target audience is sworn personnel from the rank of police officer through lieutenant, however non-sworn members of our profession and members of all ranks are welcome.
Although LAPPL members are made up of Los Angeles Police Officers; PDI welcomes and encourages law enforcement personnel from any agency to attend. Regional attendance and networking benefits all attendees. California agencies will receive CA POST CPT credit for completed courses.
